Lady Gaga Announces Track List & Collector's Edition Art Book of THE FAME MONSTER

Lady Gaga has announced that she will release a collector’s edition art book of The Fame Monster to be released December 15. Everything included in the Fame Monster’s collector edition makes sense except for the lock of hair. It includes a collectable puzzle, posters, tons of pics and even paper dolls.  Why would someone need a lock of Lady Gaga’s hair! That’s so creepy! Eww.  And how big of a lock could it be anyways?  I mean she’s only got so much hair.  Maybe its from her extensions or something, but still!  What are people supposed to do with it? Smell it?  And isn’t only the really creepy fans who want locks of hair? I guess if you’re eaten by the fame monster creepy is what creepy does.

What do you think? Creepy or not?

Gaga’s ever changing hair

April 16, 2009 at 7:55 pm (fashion) (, , , , , )

Lady Gaga seems to change her hair faster than most people can change clothes.  One minute its long, the next its short.  Its blonde then its purple.  Its down then its in a braided hairdo reminescent of the coneheads.  She seriously boards a plane with short hair and comes off with long.

How and why is this accomplished?  I don’t know and I don’t specifically care, because I know it serves at least one really important purpose.  In the internet age of rapid information we have short attention spans (talking about myself, but I know a lot you feel the same way) and the more she is able to change, as long as it stays different and cool, the longer we’ll be interested.

Apparently all this was within a couple of days.  Crazy isn’t it?

Futuristic-Electro Pop

April 7, 2009 at 3:45 am (fashion, music) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

The future is here or at least pop wants you to think that. The music sounds cool, but unfortunately it seems everyone’s copping the same style.  And it’s impossible to tell who started this trend and who the copiers are.   Another thing about electro pop is the singer doesn’t necessarily have to be able to sing in order for to sound good.  A good example of this is Britney Spears.  She came back on the cusp of the electro-pop trend and I think this type of music is good for her.  I actually like a few of her songs.  That hasn’t happened for me since the beginning of her career.

The trend is full of pantless looks, awesome shades, shininess, face make up, leggings, catsuits and awesome hair.  Look at Lady Gaga, Keri Hilson and Ciara.

 Ciara “Go Girl

Of course men are on this electo pop wave too

 Kanye West

There seems to be a real push for female electro-pop singers.  So Kanye’s kind of out numbered right now not that he’s alone. Personally I like electro-pop, but I like real instruments better, so whenever I hear these songs with real instruments I love them even better.  What do you think about this new electro-pop trend?

20s stylin’

Short Bob Haircuts 2009

Recently I’ve really started like the 20s as in 1920s.  Guess it started with the comeback of the bob for me.  I think bobs are awesome, but unfortunately I’m not brave enough to cut my hair. *sigh….anyways the first person I noticed with an awesome bob was Rihanna who seemed to love cutting her hair.  Not so much lately though.  But now it seems like bobs are popping up everywhere like with Philip Lim’s models, Lady gaga, they’re just everywhere.

Also, for the 20s fashion there’s the emphasis on legs and I luv tights and leggings.  I luv all colors and styles and I’m always glad to see other people in them as well as long with they have nice legs.  I wear them as often as possible.  Of course that shows up again in the 60s, but I think its awesome.  Wearing tights and leggings means plenty of tunics, short dresses and skirts.

Recently I had bought a cloche which is a hat from the 20s.  I wore it as much as possible since its made from wool and would be kind of hard to wear as of now.  Mine looks kind of like this one, but with a smaller bow.  I’ve like these since I saw Angelina Jolie’s hat from the Changeling.  Haven’t watched the movie yet, but the style was awesome.

I suppose you can tell my favorite designer from this list of things that I’ve listed.
